Sandbach Striders

For the third consecutive year, Sandbach Striders running club will once more be offering the popular and FREE to attend Couch to 5k running program.


If you would like to get fit, meet new people and find out why we all love running then the Couch to 5k course of for you.

Starting on Wednesday 9th April at 6:30pm and running for 10 weeks, we will encourage and help you achieve the target of running 5k (3.11 miles!) without stopping.
People will progress at different speeds, starting from whatever walk/run combination suits you best.

We will offer you a running mentor and a tailored training program to help you achieve the target at a pace that suits you and your lifestyle.

Wednesday evenings are our most popular club night and so you'll be made welcome by many Striders of all ages and abilities each with their own running story to tell.

Don't be shy! Make a real difference to your fitness and your social life by coming along.

All you need to bring is yourself in clothes and training shoes that you feel comfortable exercising in.
