Sandbach Striders

A big well done to all 34 runners who completed the club 10k! A warm evening at Elworth Cricket Club meant pleasant conditions for spectators and cricketers but tricky times for those undergoing some serious physical exertion.
Heather - 1st Female

There were some excellent results, which included five Striders paying lip service to conventional training methods and tackling their first 10k just days after completing the ten week Couch-to-5k course! So, well done Sally, Kelly, Sarah, Stacey and Tracey!

Tony - 1st Male
The now obligatory cheapskate prizes were awarded to some very deserving winners and then drinks and cakes were on hand to help the runners replenish their spent calories.
