The total race route will have been something like 6.9 miles with a few extra twists and turns because of the need to adjust the start and finish lines.

Heather continues her run of fine form with a convincing victory despite doing a great deal of whining about her handicap score. Megan finished as 2nd female despite stopping to take photographs of cows and posting them to Facebook. Lou recorded an extra 3rd place in her first ever club event.

Martin, Andrew, Stella and Denis  battled round despite nursing illness or injuries. Alan, Craig and Steph both performed well on their first Striders events too.
Tony and Tim cross the line

A big thanks also to our marshalls and helpers from tonight without whom events like this could not take place:

  • Perry for marshalling the crossroads and manning the water stop
  • Mo and Sarah for marshalling at the end of the track
  • Lindsay and Sarah for marshalling at the railway bridge
  • Martin for taking photographs

Martin has uploaded all of the photographs to a shared folder which you can access here.
