Sandbach Striders

Entries are now open for the Sandbach 10k 2024. 2023 was yet another great year for the event.

Back again for 2024. The event has consistently been a great success, and we think 2024 will be no different. The 10k race will be held on Sunday 11th August and starts at at the earlier time of 10:00.

Price: £18/£16 with UKA membership.

We have sold out for the last 5 years, so book now to avoid disappointment

The race features:

  • 10:00 start
  • Mainly closed roads, with short gravel path at start (Course)
  • UKA License Number (UKA License Applied for)
  • Chip-timed
  • Bespoke Medal
  • On-line results
  • Prizes to 1st three males & females*
  • Individual prizes in veterans categories (V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, and V60)*
  • Prizes to 1st Sandbach resident (male & female)*

All profits from the day as well as cake stalls, will go to our club fund raiser which will be announced in March.

In 2023 we raised a in excess of £2,000 for our club charity "Chance Changing", so we are hoping to achieve similar this year

On Sunday 8th September 2019, the Sandbach 10k and Under 16s 2k took place from Bradwall Village Hall

All 500 places were sold out for the 10k, and 100 for the 2k, with 430 and 82 finishers respectively.
