As part of the Sandbach 10k race on Sunday 11th August 2024, and with 350+ runners on the roads, there will be a number of road closures in place from 9:50 until approximately 11:30.
All of the route will be closed, which can be viewed on the Sandbach 10k Route Page, as well as some of the approach roads.

Please respect the road closures, marshals and the runners, as we put on the event to raise money for our club charity.
The main affected through route will be Wards Lane from Back Lane (from Brereton/Holmes Chapel direction), through Pillar Box Lane and Bradwall Road.
Diversions and signage will be in place, and directed through Middlewich
The following roads will be CLOSED during this time to ALL traffic including bikes:
- Bradwall Road from Sweettooth Lane Junction past Sandbach Rugby club in the direction of Bradwall (event parking only access)
- Bradwall Road from the Junction of Pillar Box Lane and Bradwall Road
- Ward's Lane from Back Lane (near Brereton) through Pillar Box Lane to Bradwall Road
- Walnut Tree Lane will be closed to through traffic
- Bradwall Road to the junction with Jones and Wood Lane crossroads
- Wood Lane turning to Cookesmere Lane to the Sweettooth Lane junction
