Membership of Sandbach Striders running club is open to all who are 16 or over.
All prospective members are invited to run with our club for one month free of charge. They are then invited to complete an application form and pay a subscription of £15 for the first three months and then £10 per quarter thereafter. (Those in full‐time education pay nothing.) The initial £15 gives UKA membership. Minimum membership term is a year. T-Shirts/vests are available for additional cost once signed up
It is easier for the committee and members if the quarterly payment is made by BACs payment/standing order. The clubs' account details will be sent to you once the form is completed.
The club is affiliated to UK Athletics and each member automatically becomes a member of this body.
On becoming a member you will be allocated a number which, when quoted on a race entry, allows you to pay £2 less than an unaffiliated runner. Membership also provides you with insurance cover for accidents occurring whilst participating in an activity directly connected to the club.
We pride ourselves on being a very friendly, inclusive and sociable club.
All members are bound by the club’s constitution, a copy of which is included in the members’ handbook.
